We’re hiring an eFront Developer to play a key role in supporting and improving fund accounting and investment operations for a global investment management organization. This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology—focused on optimizing eFront for accurate financial reporting, investor transparency, and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and investment teams to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Configure, maintain, and enhance eFront modules across fund accounting, investor reporting, and portfolio management.
- Review and document existing workflows to identify areas for automation and process improvement.
- Support system upgrades, integrations, and performance enhancements.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with internal IT teams or external vendors for resolution.
- Maintain accuracy of financial data in eFront, including transactions, valuations, NAVs, and investor allocations.
- Manage data exports from eFront (e.g., FrontCMD) for enterprise-level reporting and analytics.
- Develop and execute test plans, lead user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate system outputs such as NAV calculations and investor statements.
- Ensure seamless rollout of new features, updates, and process migrations.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on enhancements and project milestones.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with eFront, particularly in fund accounting and portfolio management modules.
- Solid understanding of fund structures and accounting principles (NAVs, capital calls, distributions, carried interest, etc.).
- Experience working in private equity, venture capital, or alternative investment operations preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Good to Have
- Working knowledge of SQL or database queries.
- Exposure to automation or integration with downstream systems.
